Unpopular opinion: the $1,100 I dropped on a whole house water softener was the best money I've spent on this place
Our fixtures in the NE heights were crusting up so bad I was scrubbing the shower head monthly, and after 8 months the scale is gone and my dishes actually come out clean. Anyone else here on city water dealt with hard water scale, and did a softener fix it or am I just fooling myself?
