Learned the hard way that a stack of old bath towels and a wet vac in the van save your butt more than any fancy kit. Funny how life keeps teaching the same lesson, the stuff you hope you'll never need is exactly the stuff you should always have. Just keep it simple and document everything with photos before you start.
