Spent 10 days in Portland last month and I feel like I saw a totally different city than what everyone talks about
Everyone online goes on about the food carts and the hipster vibe but honestly I was kinda let down by that. What really got me was how quiet the residential streets were at like 9pm on a Friday night. I walked from Alberta to Division and barely saw any small talk or people hanging out on porches. Has anyone else noticed that Portland feels way more isolated than people claim?
