Found a free way to draft a simple will in Alberta

I was about to pay $300 to a lawyer for a basic will. Then I found the Alberta government's free will guide online with templates. Has anyone else used those forms and had them hold up in probate?

Used to think you had to pay a lawyer for anything legal to be legit but those forms are actually pretty solid. Saved me a ton and my friend's family used em when he passed and probate was fine.

Tbh my cousin used one of those online will kits and it worked out perfect for her. Way cheaper than going to a lawyer, and the court accepted everything without any hassle. Nice to know they hold up when it matters most.
