DAE finally figure out the fisheye fix for rocker panels without wasting a whole roll of tape?
Spent 3 hours last Tuesday chasing fisheyes on a black Silverado rocker panel, kept blaming my gun and the booth filter. Turned out my air line had a tiny pinhole leak near the dryer at the Lincoln Ave shop, and moisture was sneaking into the clear. Wrapped that section in 3M 8979 tape and swapped to a disposable Desiccant filter right at the gun, no more fish eyes on 4 jobs since. Anyone else run into random pinholes in their shop air lines, and how the heck do you find them before they wreck a paint job?
