My brother in law told me at Thanksgiving that EVs are just golf carts with extra steps, and I almost threw my plate
He drives a lifted F-250 that gets 11 mpg and has never once been off pavement, but when he said the instant torque on my Model 3 was 'gimmicky' I realized most people arguing about EVs have never actually driven one, so how do you even talk to someone like that without it turning into a shouting match?
