I counted the laser blasts in one Star Wars hallway fight and hit 47 shots from a single stormtrooper
Last Friday I was stuck home with a cold and decided to actually count the blaster shots in that famous Death Star hallway scene. One stormtrooper fires 47 times without reloading, and I was ready to call it the dumbest thing I had ever seen until I read that real blasters in that universe supposedly run on a gas canister good for around 500 shots. Honestly that number single handedly switched me from "this is lazy writing" to "fine, I guess that works" and it bugs me how easily I flipped. Now I want to know which movie moment everyone else forgave the second they saw the actual math behind it.
