Pro tip: picked the wrong end of Armageddon to get mad about, and I regret it
Me and my buddy Dave argued for 20 solid at his place in Tulsa about the scene where they land on the asteroid and drill 800 feet down. I picked the drill physics as the dumb part, since a real rig wouldn't bite into rock with almost no gravity pulling the bit down. Then Dave pointed at the scene where Bruce Willis pushes the button with his thumb, and I knew I lost. Which bad science bugs you more, the stuff that's just wrong, or the stuff that's wrong AND sad?.

Read somewhere that real drill bits need gravity or they just float, so that scene always got me too.
