Watched Armageddon again and the asteroid logic fell apart faster than the drill team
In Armageddon a single nuke splits an asteroid the size of Texas into two halves that just drift apart, but in Deep Impact they actually break the thing into smaller pieces over time and it still causes a mega tsunami, which is way closer to how orbital mechanics works. Why does everyone give Armageddon a pass on the physics but roast Deep Impact for the tidal wave scene?
