My bank told me my rent check cleared when it hadn't, and I paid $70 in late fees because of it

I watched the app show "processed" for 4 days while my landlord in Phoenix was texting me about a missing payment. Turns out "processed" just means they scanned the envelope, not that the money moved. Anyone know if there's a bank out there that actually tells you when funds leave?
