PSA: bank teller called out my deposit slips and it saved me $340 in fees
I was still filling out paper deposit slips by hand every week until a teller in Denver told me my handwriting was causing two day holds on my checks. Switched to the app's photo deposit and started making mobile check deposits before 2pm, and now the money clears same day instead of sitting in limbo. Anyone else had a bank employee give them a tip that actually stuck?
