Got a 1987 copy of And Tango Makes Three from a library sale cart for 50 cents
Our little town library in Ohio put it on the cart because it kept getting challenged and they just gave up replacing it. I bought it, read it to my kids that night, and my 6 year old asked why anyone would be mad about two penguins. So I emailed the children's librarian and she invited me to read it at story hour next month, and 9 other parents signed up to come. Has anyone else had a library actually say yes to something like this?
Oh man, a buddy of mine in Michigan did the same thing and their library said yes too, packed room and everything. Turns out small town librarians are quietly the bravest people around.
