Talking to my librarian changed how I see banned book lists
She told me that when a book gets challenged in our county, they don't just pull it, they log why and who filed the complaint. Looking at 30 years of those forms showed the same 3 reasons popping up over and over, but applied to totally different books each decade. Has anyone else looked at their local library's challenge records?
