Really appreciate you sharing this. It takes guts to admit you were wrong about something, especially when it involves kids and books. That librarian sounds like she handled it the right way - by showing you the real impact instead of just arguing. I've been there too, thinking I had a strong opinion on something I never actually looked into. It's humbling but also kind of freeing to change your mind when you get new information.
