Finally got a meme reinstated after 3 appeals to Reddit's team

I spent 6 months trying to share this one panel about algorithmic bias that kept getting flagged as hate speech. On the third try I actually wrote a detailed explanation of the political satire intent and they reversed it. Has anyone else had luck with their appeal process?

The thing nobody talks about is how Reddit's automated flagging system gets triggered by certain keywords regardless of context. My meme had the word "algorithm" in it and that alone set off their hate speech detector apparently... Its a known issue with how they train their bots on biased data sets. Your detailed explanation probably worked because it showed a human actually read it, not an AI. Still messed up that we have to jump through hoops for basic satire though.

Holy crap wait, for real? They flagged a meme just for having the word "algorithm" in it? That's honestly insane, I had no idea the bots were that dumb about specific words.
