That "nuked over a joke" thing reminds me of what jade_young68 said. My friend got fired because his boss overheard a dumb sarcastic comment he made about the break room. The company totally overreacted and it shows how thin-skinned some places have become.

That "thin-skinned" thing Casey said is spot on. Some places just can't take a joke anymore.
