The mod told me 'context doesn't matter, only the platform's rules do,' so now I just archive everything before I post. How do you guys document this stuff before it gets memory-holed?

Honestly feels like a lot of work for something that probably just gets lost in the noise anyway. Most of my posts just vanish cause they're boring, not cause of some big conspiracy. I just save a copy if it's actually important to me, like a recipe or something.

Did you see what happened to my friend's thread on that old game forum? He posted a screenshot of a weird bug, and the whole thread vanished overnight because it mentioned a mod by name. He learned the hard way to always take a screenshot and email it to himself right away.
