I used to think the 'chalk ban' at my old college was just about keeping things clean

I was back in Boulder last week and saw they'd power-washed a whole sidewalk quote about free inquiry, maybe 20 feet long, that some group had put down. A campus cop told me they have to remove any 'unauthorized messages' within two hours now. Has your school gotten that strict about sidewalk chalk too?

Yeah, it's wild how it went from cleaning up to straight up censorship. Feels like they're scared of any student voice they can't control.
