My advisor told me to drop the class, I didn't, now I owe $600 in fines
Professor Kessler warned me that my poli-sci seminar had a strict no-recording rule, but I figured I'd just take audio notes anyway for my own use. Got caught on day 3 in Bloomington, and they hit me with a $600 academic integrity fine plus a semester-long ban from the lecture hall. Has anyone else ignored a dumb rule and paid way more than it was worth?
