My cousin in Singapore said he couldn't even share a news article about a local protest on his social feed because the link was blocked.
He tried to post it to a student group chat at his university, and the whole message got flagged and removed. It made me think about how speech limits aren't always a loud 'no', sometimes they're just a quiet filter you don't see. Has anyone else run into that kind of silent blocking on campus?

Is that really the case, like they just vanish entire chapters? I had a similar thing happen back in my sophomore year when I was trying to share a documentary about labor strikes. The link wouldn't even load on the campus WiFi, and when I tried to upload a clip from it to my history project, the file got flagged as "sensitive content" and was deleted within an hour. @sarahh48 really nailed it with that invisible librarian image, except this librarian has a delete button for anything they don't like.

Wow, that's like having an invisible librarian delete pages from books.

Wait, are you saying they actually remove whole chapters? I just assumed it was a line here or there, maybe a few paragraphs. But entire sections gone, that changes the whole book. How can you even follow the story if key parts are missing?
