Rant: The resident advisor who made me redo my dorm poster wall

Back in spring semester at Ohio State, I had this big corkboard with flyers about a campus protest. RA came by during rounds and said I couldn't keep them up. Said it counted as 'disruptive speech' because some residents complained. I argued it was free expression. She gave me a specific choice: take them down or face a conduct meeting. I took them down, but that moment stuck with me. It wasn't about the flyers, it was about how quickly a rule can shut down a conversation. Has anyone else had an RA or housing staff kill their display because of a vague policy?
