Clipper died halfway through a Saturday fade, finished the kid's head with a $12 backup from the drawer
My Wahl Senior started making a grinding noise and just quit on me around 2pm last Saturday, mid fade on a regular named Dave who sits in my second chair every 3 weeks. I panicked, grabbed the cheap backup clipper I got at a Sally Beauty in Fresno two years ago, and somehow blended the taper better with that thing than my main. Spent Sunday breaking down the Senior and found a wad of hair packed around the blade screw that I never clean enough. Anyone else keep a junk backup that ends up cutting smoother than the good one?
