Tried a feather razor on a whim after 8 years, now I get the hype

I've been using the same clipper set since barber school in 2016 and figured my fades were fine as is. Last Tuesday a client brought in his own feather razor and dared me to try it on his neckline. I was skeptical because I thought it was just a gimmick, but the detail work was so clean it took me 10 extra minutes just to admire it. I bought my own the next day and did 6 cuts with it over the weekend. Has anyone else switched to feather razors for the final outline, or do you stick with shavettes for everything?

Feathers are for edges, shavettes do the heavy lifting, different tools.
