Called out a mod for deleting a post about faulty wiring. Got banned and they said I was fearmongering.

I saw a news report last week about a house fire in a neighborhood where the wiring was old and nobody reported it because they were afraid of getting in trouble. That's the exact kind of thing mods should let people talk about, not delete. I get that they don't want panic, but faulty wiring is a real danger and hiding it just makes it worse. Your post could have helped someone check their own place before something bad happened.

That thing about nobody reporting it because they were scared of getting in trouble. Yeah I used to think deleting those posts kept the peace but you're right, hiding real dangers just makes it worse. People need to know this stuff.
