My college roommate's streaming rule still haunts me 8 years later
Back in 2015 my roommate Jake swore by the '3 episode rule' before quitting any show. I thought that was crazy, who has time to waste on 3 episodes of something boring? Turns out he was right, I dropped True Detective after 1 episode and missed out for months until my brother made me give it another shot. Now I always tell people to push past the pilot if the concept sounds good, has anyone else had a show that only clicked after multiple tries?
