Vent: a hotel clerk in Reno got me hooked on a show I still think about 3 months later
I was stuck in Reno for a work thing back in March and the front desk guy would not stop talking about some show he binged in two nights. I wrote it down on a napkin just to get him to stop, then watched the first episode in my room out of pure boredom. Four hours later I was ordering room service at 1am because I could not hit pause. What show did a total stranger talk you into that you actually ended up loving?

Had a buddy who got talked into watching some Korean survival show by a guy at a car wash, of all places. The guy was so pushy about it that my friend pulled it up that night just to prove him wrong. He called me at 2 in the morning three episodes deep, completely hooked, and we ended up watching the whole season together over the next week. Sometimes the random pushy stranger knows what they're talking about.
