Got flagged by a bot for selling a dining table in Austin
I listed my old table on Facebook Marketplace for 40 bucks. The bot took it down in 3 minutes saying it violated their weapons policy. A dining table. With four chairs. I appealed twice and got the same canned reply. I even re-listed it as 'wooden furniture' and it stayed up fine. What kind of algorithm confuses a table with a gun? Has anyone else had Marketplace bots flag totally normal stuff for bizarre reasons?

My buddy once got a lawn mower flagged as a knife because the listing said it had a sharp blade, so you are in good company here. These bots just grab onto a random word and panic like my uncle at a spelling bee. Try leaving out anything that sounds even a little sharp or dangerous in the title and you should be fine.
