Why does nobody talk about how hard it is to find a good game teacher?
I was at my local shop in Tulsa last Saturday and watched a guy spend 20 minutes explaining Wingspan to a new player while she just nodded and looked lost. I get that teaching is a skill, but shouldn't stores do more to help new people actually learn games instead of just selling boxes? Is it on us as experienced players to step up, or should shops be doing more here?
