Laughed at a guy using a plasma cutter for thin stuff till I tried it
I always swore by my torch for cutting 16 gauge sheet, thought plasma was overkill. Then we had a job at a refinery in Baton Rouge last spring, tight spot near some piping. Bought a Hypertherm 30XP on a whim and that thing zipped through 10 gauge like butter, no warping at all. Anyone else get humbled by a tool they mocked?
