PSA: The discussion guide from the publisher saved our meeting

My group was stuck on the same old arguments about the ending for three weeks straight. Then I grabbed the free PDF guide off the publisher's site for the novel we were reading. It had a list of character motives and timeline notes that settled the big disagreement in five minutes. Has anyone else used those official guides or do you all stick to your own notes?

My last group read a dense sci-fi book and we spent two whole meetings going in circles about the time loop's logic. I grabbed the publisher's timeline chart too, and honestly it just made everyone feel relieved that we weren't missing something huge. There's still plenty of room to argue about what it all means, even with the facts laid out.

Ha, that feels like cheating honestly. Half the fun is arguing about what the ending "really" means, even if it goes nowhere. Those guides just kill the mystery and make it feel like homework.
