Why do people treat this like it's only a work thing? It's everywhere. The gym in January, packed for two weeks, then empty. Learning a language, everyone downloads the app, nobody opens it past day three. Even book clubs, half the people show up hoping the wine and snacks will cover for them. We love the idea of doing the thing way more than actually doing it. The meeting thing is just the same old story in a nicer outfit.
