Ran into an older couple in a tiny hostel in Granada who changed how I pack forever
The guy showed me how he rolls everything into a single backpack using these mesh bags he got for $2 at a hardware store, and I've saved like 40 minutes every trip since. Has anyone else picked up a random tip from a stranger that stuck with you for years?

Those mesh bags are a game changer, I still use the same trick my buddy's dad taught me at a bus station in Peru like eight years ago. Makes unpacking so much easier too, you just grab the bag you need instead of digging through everything.

Is saving 40 minutes really that life changing though? Like, are we really out here treating packing time like some huge burden on our lives? People act like they discovered fire when they learn a folding trick, but you still gotta carry the same stuff. The mesh bag tip is fine and all, but not something I'd tell strangers about for years. I mean, good for that guy, but I think we're giving a hardware store bag way too much credit here.
