Used to book hotels at 11pm, now I set a 2am alarm instead
I used to grab whatever room was left when I landed, usually paid $120 plus in downtown Phoenix. Then a buddy told me to check prices around 2am local time, so I tried it on a Denver trip last month. Same hotel dropped from $98 to $61 just because their system refreshed unsold inventory. Now I set a phone alarm for 2am whenever I travel, spend five minutes booking, and go right back to sleep. Has anyone else noticed prices dipping at weird hours, or is it just luck for me?
