Can we talk about the habit tracker guilt spiral that killed my whole journal?
Three years ago I had a perfect 90 day streak going on my habit tracker and then missed one day in November when my kid got sick, and I literally stopped opening the journal for four months. Last month I finally counted it up, I had wasted $86 on notebooks over the years because I kept quitting every time a streak broke. Now I only track three things and I let myself scribble an X through bad days instead of leaving them blank, because blank squares are what actually felt like failure. It's weird how a little grid can run your whole life if you let it. Anyone else ditch the tracker pages completely, or did you find a way to make them work without the guilt?
