Vent: my old bujo method failed me at the worst possible time

I compared my minimal weekly layout to a full daily log over 3 months, and the minimal one cost me a missed deadline last Tuesday. The daily log won because I actually saw tasks the day they landed, not buried in a rolling list. Anyone else ditch their fancy spreads for something plain after a big miss?
