Warning: don't trust a new notebook's index page until you've used it a month
I set up a fresh journal on the 1st and spent an hour indexing everything perfectly, then my whole system fell apart by the 3rd because I didn't know which spreads I'd actually keep. Pages shifted, I crossed out half the index, and now I'm flipping through a mess trying to find my December budget. Anyone else wait before filling in the index, or do you just commit upfront?
