Why the big Turkey earthquake coverage faded so fast in some places

I keep seeing people say the 2023 Turkey-Syria quake got full coverage everywhere, but that's not what happened. In a lot of countries the story was huge for about 4 days, then basically gone once the rescue phase ended and the cameras left. The death toll passed 50,000 and rebuild stuff in places like Antakya is still stalled, but you'd hardly know it now. Anyone got a good source that actually tracks which stories get pulled from front pages and why?
