A customer told me my pork shoulder cuts were too thick for their smoker, so I tried something new.

What kind of smoker are they using? Thicker cuts are actually better for low and slow, they won't dry out as fast. Maybe they just need to adjust their cook time way up. I'd tell them to try it anyway and just plan for it to take a lot longer, the results are usually worth the wait.

Honestly, I once tried a low and slow cook and my smoker basically took a nap. Tbh the meat was still good though!

Isn't it funny how even a "nap" can still turn out good meat with a little patience? That's the magic of low and slow, I guess.
