Watch your fingers when you pull the kidney plate, learned that one the hard way

A guy at my shop in Dayton nicked his tendon on a broken splitter spring while breaking down a whole hog 3 weeks ago. He's out 8 weeks and the shop lost its second cutter, so we're all working doubles now. Check your springs before every break down or you will be the next one sitting at home.
