I was running a coax line to a bedroom in a complex off Camelback Rd last Tuesday and popped a tile to check the plenum. Instead of open space I hit a foot of loose fill packed between the truss and the drywall. Turns out the building got a weatherization retrofit back in 2009 and they just blew it in over everything, no chases, no conduit. Now I'm burning 20 extra minutes per drop snaking around it and vacuuming dust out of my drill every time. Anybody got a trick for fishing through blown-in without turning the room into a snow globe?
