Froze my hands at a Fairbanks install and a $4 trick saved the job
Last Tuesday I was up on a ladder in Fairbanks running a drop to a second story unit and my fingers got so cold I could not feel the coax connector to save my life. I ran down to the truck, grabbed a pair of those cheap wool fingerless gloves and a hand warmer pack, and taped the warmer to my wrist so I could still feel the fitting and click it on. Does anyone else have a cold weather setup that actually lets you work the connector, or am I the only one taping stuff to myself out here?
