Got caught in a downpour at Big Bend and learned my rain fly was useless

The seam tape on my 3-year-old tent peeled off during a 2 AM storm near Rio Grande Village, so now I check every tent's seam tape before buying and re-treat it every season, what do you use to fix peeling seams?
