Rant: I got a 30 day ban for saying a town's water tasted bad
So last month on our neighborhood app, someone asked if the tap water was safe to drink. I wrote back that it was safe, but after living here for five years, I still think it tastes like a swimming pool... and that the city should fix it. Next thing I know, my comment is gone and I get a message saying I was banned for a month for 'spreading false info and causing panic'. All I said was it tasted bad! The mod said calling the water 'like a swimming pool' could make people think it was unsafe, which wasn't my point at all. I just wanted to say the taste is off. It's crazy how you can't even share a simple opinion about something as basic as water without it getting taken the wrong way. Has anyone else had a post removed for something you thought was totally harmless?

What kind of fragile mod runs a neighborhood app like it's a nuclear launch code forum? Next you'll get a lifetime ban for saying the community pool is too cold.

Exactly. Try posting that your trash can lid wasn't fully closed and get a three paragraph warning about "civic responsibility." They treat a lost cat flyer like it's a national security briefing.
