Pro tip: searching a site's own sitemap found the page that got scrubbed from the Wayback Machine
I was trying to pull up an old news article about a chemical plant fine in Ohio from 2018 and every version of it was gone, Wayback included. On a hunch I typed the site's URL plus /sitemap.xml and there it was, still indexed with the old headline and date even though the page itself 404s now. Grabbed a screenshot of the sitemap entry next to the dead link before it disappears too. Has anyone else had luck with this, or is there a better place to look once the archive is wiped?
