A friend in Prague had his blog about local politics taken down for a week without any clear reason given.

He had to contact three different people at the hosting company before someone finally admitted a single complaint about a post from two months prior triggered an automatic takedown, which made me wonder how many other small voices get silenced by these hidden systems.

That's so messed up and happens way too often. These automated systems are built for big platforms, not people. It really does feel like they're designed to quiet regular folks.

Ugh, this is such a real problem. I read about a small baker in the UK who lost her whole business website because a competitor falsely reported it. The system just shut it down first and asked questions never, exactly like @taylor_fox said. It took her months and a local news story to get it back. These automated rules protect big companies, not people. They just erase regular folks who can't fight back.
