Walked into that new bistro on 3rd last week. Ordered the steak, and it came out looking like a lab experiment, all one color and weirdly soft. I swear my chicken had more char from the microwave at home. We traded flavor for culinary progress that feels like a step back, you know? When did a little fire become too much to ask for?
