I finally figured out why my flue brush kept snagging on a job last week

I was up on a roof in downtown Portland cleaning a liner that's been giving me trouble for months, and it turns out a previous crew left a chunk of mortar wedged about halfway down. Managed to fish it out with a hook and now the brush slides through smooth as butter. Anyone else deal with hidden debris messing up their sweep?
