Biking to work last month cut my car trips by half without trying
I started just keeping my bike helmet and a spare shirt at the shop. After a week I realized I was grabbing the bike every time I needed to run under 2 miles. Honestly, I didn't plan on it but it saved me like 30 bucks in gas last month alone. Anyone else find a small habit change that actually stuck way better than big eco goals?

Yeah, I read somewhere that small changes like that are way easier to keep up with than big ones.

My buddy Dave started doing this thing where he just put his recycling bin INSIDE his front closet instead of out in the garage. He told me it was a pain at first because he had to remember to haul it out every week. But pretty soon he was automatically sorting every can and bottle right when he came in the door instead of tossing it in the regular trash. He said his trash pickup went from two big bags every week to one small one. The whole thing was just about making the right choice EASIER than the lazy one and it really stuck.
