Finally saw the solar farm payoff after 4 years of doubt

I moved near the Triple Oak solar project in eastern Colorado back in 2021 and honestly thought it was a vanity project. This spring I drove past it again and the difference is stark, the county's grid now feeds excess power to two neighboring towns on peak days. It took four years for the storage batteries and updated substations to catch up, but the reliability numbers speak for themselves. Has anyone else watched a big renewable build mature slowly and changed their mind about it?
