Weather stripping on my 1920s rental failed in the storm Tuesday and my heat bill jumped $60
I taped plastic over the gaps for now but I know that's not a real fix for winter. Has anyone here actually gotten a landlord in Chicago to pay for proper air sealing, or am I wasting my breath?
